The best Amazon inventory management software for resellers connects three things: what you buy, what Amazon receives and what each unit really costs. Seller Assistant is the strongest pick for turning supplier price lists into purchase orders, tracked FBA shipments and a landed cost per SKU, RestockPro is best for FBA restock planning, and InventoryLab is best for prepping and shipping online arbitrage buys.
Who it’s for
This comparison is for resellers: wholesale and online arbitrage sellers, often a small team with a VA or a prep center. If you’re a private-label brand planning production months ahead, SoStocked’s long-range forecasting will suit you better. If you sell on several channels, look at Linnworks. For the basics behind the topic, see our guide to Amazon inventory management.

The short list
- Seller Assistant: best for wholesale resellers who buy from supplier price lists.
- RestockPro: best for FBA restock suggestions and replenishment purchase orders.
- InventoryLab: best for online arbitrage sellers who prep and ship their own buys.
- Sellerboard: best for sellers who want inventory planning next to profit analytics.
- SoStocked: best for private-label brands that forecast months ahead.
- Linnworks: best for multichannel sellers with stock outside Amazon.
How We Compared Amazon Inventory Management Software
We judged every tool on the same eight criteria, chosen for how resellers actually work: buying from suppliers, sending stock to FBA and tracking what each unit cost.
- Amazon FBA stock sync: whether the tool works as an Amazon stock management system and pulls your FBA inventory in automatically.
- Purchase orders and suppliers: whether you can build an order for a supplier, track its status and keep supplier details in one place.
- Restock or forecasting: whether the tool tells you what to reorder and when, based on sales velocity.
- FBA shipment tracking: whether you can follow inbound shipments and spot units that Amazon didn’t receive.
- Landed cost per unit: whether the cost of each unit includes shipping, tax and prep, not just the supplier price. It matters because supplier quotes keep moving. According to Seller Assistant’s State of Amazon Wholesale (Q3 2026), 2 of 3 supplier price changes are increased.
- Multichannel: whether the tool manages stock on channels besides Amazon, such as Walmart, Shopify or eBay.
- Prep center support: whether orders and stock can go to a prep center, not only to your own address.
- Starting price: the lowest monthly plan that includes the inventory features.
We checked each tool on its own website and help pages and list prices as of October 2026. Seller Assistant is our own product, so it gets the same criteria, and we name the features it doesn’t have.
Amazon Inventory Management Software Compared

Prices as of October 2026, monthly billing. “Not stated” means the vendor’s own site is silent on the feature.
No tool covers all eight criteria. The forecasting tools are strongest on what to reorder and when, but say less about the real cost of each unit. Seller Assistant connects orders, shipments and landed cost, but doesn’t forecast. Linnworks is the only one built for many channels, and it’s the heaviest to set up.
Seller Assistant: Best for Wholesale Sellers Who Buy from Supplier Price Lists
Seller Assistant works as Amazon FBA inventory management software for the jobs resellers spend most time on: turning a supplier price list into an order, then tracking that stock into FBA at its real cost.

What it does well
- Purchase orders from price lists
Purchase Orders Module ties each order to a supplier. Every line shows the quantity, unit cost and estimated FBA profit, and the order carries its tax, shipping and other costs plus a destination warehouse. You can add products straight from Price List Analyzer, from your product database or by hand.

- Invoice check
When the supplier’s PDF invoice arrives, Seller Assistant reads it and shows which lines changed before you apply them to the order.

- Prep centers and warehouses
You can export an order or send it to a connected prep center. Warehouses Database stores your prep centers and warehouses as ready-made destinations, so you don’t retype addresses.
- FBA shipment tracking
FBA Shipments syncs your Amazon inbound plans and shipments every 6 hours and compares shipped with received units on closed shipments, so missing units stand out.

- Landed cost per SKU
Each SKU carries a landed cost: the unit cost plus allocated order costs, prep cost and FBA inbound cost, including placement and transportation fees per unit. Seller Assistant Repricer uses that landed cost for your price floor.

For the full ordering workflow, see our guide to managing wholesale supplier purchase orders.
Where it falls short
It has no demand forecasting, restock alerts or reorder points. Amazon is the only live channel. It doesn’t send orders to suppliers for you, and new shipments are created in Amazon’s Send to Amazon, not inside Seller Assistant.
Price
As of October 2026, the Business plan costs $79.99 a month, or $69.99 a month billed yearly, with unlimited purchase orders, invoice parsing, prep integrations, landed cost tracking and FBA Shipments sync. The $29.99 Pro plan includes up to 3 purchase orders as a preview. Both have a 14-day free trial.
Best for
Wholesale teams that source from price lists and want each order, shipment and unit cost in one place.
RestockPro: Best for FBA Restock Suggestions
RestockPro, from eComEngine, is built around one question: what should you reorder or send to FBA next?

What it does well
Restock suggestions use sales velocity and Amazon’s historical days of supply, and priority flags mark at-risk SKUs. From a suggestion you can create a purchase order, manage supplier details and track shipments through to received quantities. It also prints Amazon item labels and handles kits. You can use it whether you ship to your own warehouse, a prep center or directly to FBA.
Where it falls short
It’s built for Amazon FBA sellers, so merchant-fulfilled stock and other sales channels are outside its scope. Kits are supported only when all parts come from the same supplier.
Price
As of October 2026, it starts at $49 a month. Plans are set by monthly FBA order volume, and every plan has all features. There’s a free trial.
Best for
FBA resellers who restock the same products regularly and want the tool to say when and how much.
InventoryLab: Best for Online Arbitrage Sellers Who Prep and Ship Their Own Buys
InventoryLab, now part of Threecolts, is a long-standing reseller tool focused on getting sourced stock into Amazon quickly.

What it does well
A guided workflow takes you from buy list to inbound plan, generates MSKUs and box content labels, and sends the plan to Amazon without opening Seller Central. Fees are modeled per unit, and the built-in P&L breaks profit down by product, supplier or category. FBA, merchant-fulfilled and unlisted stock sit in one view, with buy cost tracked line by line. Plans include unlimited users.
Where it falls short
It’s available for US Amazon sellers only. Restock insights are a $25-a-month add-on on the standalone plan, and selling on other channels needs a separate add-on.
Price
As of October 2026, it costs $69 a month on its own. It’s also included in the Seller 365 bundle, which starts at $69 a month.
Best for
Online and retail arbitrage sellers who prep and ship their own buys and want profit per unit from the start.
Sellerboard: Best for Inventory Planning Next to Profit Analytics
Sellerboard is a profit analytics tool first, with an inventory module built on the same cost data.

What it does well
The inventory planner tells you when to restock FBA or reorder from a supplier. You can create supplier purchase orders, allocate shipping costs across SKUs by weight, quantity or manually, and Sellerboard turns them into new cost batches for each product. Purchase orders link to inbound FBA shipments, so you can follow an order from the supplier to Amazon. It also syncs Amazon Warehousing and Distribution stock.
Where it falls short
Inventory is one module inside a profit dashboard, so it offers fewer purchasing tools than products built around buying.
Price
As of October 2026, plans start at $19 a month, with tiers set by monthly order volume.
Best for
Sellers who want reorder reminders and purchase orders in the same place as their profit figures.
SoStocked: Best for Private Label Brands That Forecast Months Ahead
SoStocked is Amazon inventory management and forecasting software built by Amazon sellers.

What it does well
Forecasts run up to 12 months ahead and can include seasonality and planned promotions. Min/max restocking ranges help you avoid over-ordering or under-ordering, and it plans around Amazon’s storage capacity limits. You can create purchase orders and send them to your supplier from inside the software, and track stock held at a 3PL or your own warehouse.
Where it falls short
It plans Amazon inventory only. Its forecasting is designed around products sold month after month, which suits brands with a stable catalog better than resellers whose buys change from list to list.
Price
As of October 2026, its vendor page lists ProfitFlow + Inventory at $97 a month.
Best for
Private label brands that plan production and inbound shipments months in advance.
Linnworks: Best for Multichannel Sellers with Stock Outside Amazon
Linnworks is an inventory and order management platform for sellers on many channels at once.

What it does well
It connects to more than 100 sales channels and covers order management, inventory, warehouse management, multichannel listings, shipping and stock forecasting in one system. Amazon FBA sellers are one of the groups it’s built for.
Where it falls short
Linnworks doesn’t publish its prices and says new customers are up and running in 40 days on average. That’s a lot of setup for a small reseller team that sells only on Amazon.
Price
On request, as of October 2026.
Best for
Sellers who run their own warehouse and sell the same stock on Amazon, Shopify, eBay and other channels.
Which One Should You Choose?
The right tool depends on how you buy and where you sell. Start from the seller type closest to yours.
| If You Are… | Choose | Why It Fits | Keep in Mind |
|---|---|---|---|
| A wholesale reseller team buying from price lists | Seller Assistant | Orders, invoice checks, FBA shipments and landed cost in one place | No forecasting; add a restock tool such as RestockPro |
| An online arbitrage seller who preps and ships your own buys | InventoryLab | Guided shipments and profit per unit from the first shipment | US sellers only |
| A reseller whose orders go to a prep center | Seller Assistant or RestockPro | Both let you route orders to a prep center | RestockPro is for FBA stock only |
| A multichannel seller | Linnworks | Keeps the same stock in sync across Amazon, Shopify, eBay and more | Longer setup; price on request |
| A private-label brand | SoStocked | Forecasts up to 12 months and sends POs to suppliers | Amazon-only planning |
| Focused mainly on profit | Sellerboard | Profit, reorder reminders and POs in one tool | Fewer purchasing tools than buying-focused products |
| Just starting out | Seller Central reports | Free and built in | Move to software when spreadsheets cause mistakes |
Wholesale reseller team
Choose Seller Assistant if most of your orders start from a supplier price list and several people work on the same orders. The order, the invoice check, the FBA shipment and each unit’s landed cost stay in one place. Seller Assistant doesn’t forecast, so if you restock the same products every month, add a restock tool such as RestockPro.
Online arbitrage seller
InventoryLab fits if you prep and ship your own buys and want unit-level profit from the first shipment, as long as you sell in the US. If a prep center receives your orders instead, Seller Assistant and RestockPro both let you route orders there.
Multichannel seller
Linnworks is the one tool here built around keeping the same stock in sync across Amazon, Shopify, eBay and other channels. Plan for a longer setup and ask for a quote.
Private label brand
SoStocked suits you if you plan production months ahead, since it forecasts up to 12 months and lets you send purchase orders to your supplier from inside the software.
Sellers who care most about profit
If you want one Amazon seller management software for profit, reorder reminders and purchase orders, Sellerboard covers all three at the lowest starting price in this list.
Just starting out
Seller Central’s own inventory and restock reports may be enough while you have a few suppliers and a handful of orders a month. Move to dedicated software when spreadsheets start causing mistakes: missed reorders, wrong unit costs or units lost between supplier and FBA.
FAQ
Does Amazon have its own inventory management system?
Seller Central includes basic inventory tools: Manage All Inventory for your listings, the FBA Inventory and Restock Inventory pages for FBA stock, and an FBA dashboard that pulls them together. They show stock levels and when to restock, but they don’t track supplier orders or what each unit cost you.
Can Amazon FBA inventory software help you avoid the low-inventory-level fee?
Amazon charges this fee when your FBA stock covers fewer than 28 days of supply, based on historical days of supply that Amazon calculates. Restock tools that track days of supply, such as RestockPro, flag at-risk SKUs early enough to send more stock before the fee applies.
What’s the difference between an inventory management system and an Amazon warehouse management system?
An inventory management system tracks how much stock you have, where it is and what it costs, while a warehouse management system runs physical work in a warehouse: receiving, storage locations, picking and packing. FBA resellers rarely need a warehouse management system, because Amazon handles that work, but it matters if you store and ship stock yourself.
Can inventory software create FBA shipments for you?
New FBA shipments must be created in Amazon’s Send to Amazon workflow or with software connected to Amazon’s API. Check whether a tool builds the inbound plan itself or only syncs and tracks shipments you create in Send to Amazon.
Why should your inventory software share unit costs with your repricer?
A repricer’s price floor is only as accurate as the unit cost behind it, so if costs live in two tools, a supplier price increase can leave your floor too low. Some tools connect the two: RestockPro integrates with Aura’s repricer at no extra cost, and Seller Assistant’s landed cost feeds its own Repricer.
Our Verdict
For most wholesale resellers, the best Amazon inventory management software is the one that starts where your buying starts, which is the supplier price list. That’s where Seller Assistant is strongest. One workflow takes you from the price list to the purchase order, the invoice check, the FBA shipment and the real cost of every unit, and that cost then sets your repricer’s floor.
Seller Assistant doesn’t forecast. If your main problem is knowing when to reorder the same products, start with RestockPro, or pair it with Seller Assistant. Arbitrage sellers who prep their own buys will move faster in InventoryLab, brands planning production should look at SoStocked, and sellers on several channels need Linnworks.
