What This Teaches
Most Amazon sales go through the Buy Box. Price is a big part of who wins it, along with fulfillment method, seller performance and stock. The game keeps only price, so the lowest offer in stock wins.
Racing a competitor below your break-even wins the Buy Box and loses money on every sale. The better moments are when a competitor runs out of stock or raises their price: that is when your price can go back up.
